Jim Galvin is a former detective with the New York City Police Department, where he served 23 years, including 13 years in the Detective Bureau. Jim led multiple investigative units.
Today, as Director of Ronin Consulting and Investigations, Jim oversees complex litigation, corporate security and executive protection cases. His experience spans internal and external investigations, dignitary and executive protection, threat analysis, corporate internal investigations, fraud inquiries, crisis management and advanced surveillance.
Jim holds a degree from City University of New York–Kingsborough and a BA in Police Science from John Jay College, specializing in Supervision and Management. He is a licensed private investigator and notary.
