Suspecting a partner of cheating is painful, and guessing makes it worse. An infidelity investigation replaces suspicion with facts, whatever those facts turn out to be. Sometimes the answer confirms the concern. Sometimes it puts the concern to rest. Both outcomes are worth knowing.
Signs people often describe
- Unexplained absences, late nights or schedule changes
- Guarded phone use or new accounts
- Unusual spending or withdrawals
- Stories about whereabouts that do not line up
None of these prove anything on their own. They help us decide when and where observation is most likely to answer your question.
How the work is done
Most infidelity matters rely on surveillance on the specific days and times you identify, combined with lawful background research where useful. We do not access a partner's phone, email or accounts, and we do not install tracking devices on vehicles you do not own. Those shortcuts can create criminal and civil exposure for you, and evidence gathered that way may be unusable.
If divorce is a possibility
New York allows no-fault divorce, so proof of an affair is not always needed to end a marriage. It can still matter for your decisions, for custody questions, or where marital money was spent on a relationship. If you already have a lawyer, we can work through them. Questions
Can you check my spouse’s phone?
No. Accessing another adult’s phone or accounts without authorization is illegal. We work through lawful observation and research.
What if the investigation finds nothing?
A well-planned investigation that finds no evidence of an affair is a real answer, and many clients find it valuable.
Do I need a lawyer first?
No, but if divorce is likely, talking with a family law attorney early is wise. We can work with your attorney.
